Olympos Lodge is located in a small bay in the Olympos Naationalpark, 70 km south of Antalya. It is situated in an old lemon tree grove between Cirali coast and the remains of the ancient city of Olympos, where the beach begins.

Almost 30 years ago, founder and owner of Olympos Lodge, Ziya Şimşek arrived at one of the most intact beaches of the Mediterranean. He created a small lodge surrounded by a park right beside the sea and his dream continues today: Every year people from all over the world come here to share it with him.

20,000 square meters of beautifully themed garden space surround the 14 elegant rooms, which are styled with purity and elegance. A new journey started for Olympos Lodge when Ziya’s wife Ayşen arrived 8 years ago. Ayşen took over the designing and furnishing of the rooms. At Olympos Lodge everything is unique, spotless and decorated with a special attention to detail! When I visited Olympos Lodge this year I had the chance to quickly talk to Mr. Şimşek

Mr. Simşek, has it always been clear that you want to run your own hotel?

It was my childhood dream to learn about different cultures and meet people from all over the world.

Meeting people from all over the world with different backgrounds and cultures.

What did you do before?

I used to own a construction and planning company in Berlin.

The interior design at Olympos Lodge is very unique, everything is lovely furnished with attention to every detail: Where do you get your interior inspiration from? Where do you buy special furniture?

We get our inspiration from the nature. We make some of the furniture ourselves and some are custom-made. As well as making our own furniture, we can not stay away from flea markets in the countries we visit.
